# 04. Anonymous vote function

<figure><img src="/files/htXBMhCN7xANOag9HKYb" alt=""><figcaption><p>Figure 5. Etherscan transaction information after vote</p></figcaption></figure>

When a governance vote is conducted, a transaction occurs and the transaction information and it could be checked to anyone through Etherscan (etherscan.io).

As shown in Figure 5, the contents of the crypto wallet will be reveal on the voting transaction where the voting was conducted.

&#x20;with this act address can be traced, and all information such as personal assets as well as other voting contents and transmission history can be checked. In particular, recently, it has become easier to find out the personal information of a cryptocurrency address by tracking PFP NFT, etc. to the wallet address. As the crypto ecosystem develops, the address of the crypto wallet plays the same role as the ID on SNS, and the voting method through the address of the crypto wallet is excluded from anonymous voting. Therefore, the anonymous voting function is absolutely necessary for voting.

Figure 6 is the transaction details through the proposed anonymous voting function. Using the anonymous voting function, cryptocurrency address will be displayed differently for anti tracking. (only available for voting).

When participating in the governance vote, the main-net usage history recorded in the crypto wallet address and assets such as cryptocurrency and NFTs in possession are disclosed, but in voting through EGGT, the address of the participating crypto wallet is not disclosed. Participation rates can be increased.
