# 15. EGGTcourt governance

The basic structure of EGGTcourt, a governance structure with the EGGT project's DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization) structure have been shown in figure 20. Major decisions in the EGGVERSE ecosystem are made through the process of Proposal and Voting. In order to proceed with the proposal as a vote, the proposer must deposit EGGT to be paid to the voting participants as a reward. EGGT deposited for voting is not returned regardless of voting results. EGGTcourt is also used in Launchpad's decision on EGGVERSE's NFT issuance project.

Proposals fall into two types. The first proposal is a proposal for the improvement of the ecosystem, which means a proposal for the development of the EGGT ecosystem, and the qualifications of this proposal are limited to the operating foundation of the EGGT project and to those who have 5% or more of EGGT or delegated node operators.

The second type of proposal is a proposal to limit the supply of EGGT liquidity. In order to supply or limit EGGT liquidity of the initially designed contents, the process of proposal and reflection must be carried out by agreement of governance.

The supply of tokens can have the greatest impact on actual EGGT project participants, so the foundation cannot arbitrarily change and operate, and all proposals related to distribution are limited to be decided by voting. EGGT governance voting rights are given to holders who stake EGGT in proportion to the number of tokens they hold. The results of the voting are based on the number of EGGTs of the voting participants. If 50% or more votes are obtained, the proposal is accepted and implemented, and if 50% or more votes are not obtained, the proposal is discarded.
